VIDIgo device is a diagnostic station designed for the automatic, contactless and dynamic measurement of the profile and wheel diameter of the rail vehicles with the use of a modern vision system. Additionally by means of that station you can carry out the measurement of the wheel profile parameters (width, height, thickness of range, QR) as well as wheel diameter, back to back distance and the approaching points of the wheels, located on the same axle.
The station installed on the rail track e.g. in the tram depot enables the measurement in motion at the speed of the measured rail vehicle up to 12 km/h from one direction of travel.
With regard to the software, the station is adapted for the transfer of the data to the underfloor wheel lathe series TUP of KOLTECH make, but the data as well can be collected from the underfloor wheel lathe and transferred to the external data system.
