Above Floor Wheel Lathes TUU1250
The wheel lathe model TUU1250 with friction drive is designed for turning the wheel profiles of the wheelsets of rail vehicles, both new and used ones. The machine operates in the roll-in, roll-out mode with the possibility to provide the roll-through system.
With the use of the machine, the following operations can be made:
- Reconditioning of the wheel profiles of the used wheelsets,
- Turning of the wheel profiles of the new wheelsets,
- Turning of the clamping ring of the wheelset wheels,
- Facing of the inner and outer face surfaces of wheel tyres,
- Facing of the active surfaces of brake discs, installed on the wheelsets on the axle or in the wheel hub with the use of the optional equipment.
